About Me

My Calling

We are complex, sensitive, and mysterious creatures, born to express the creative force of Eros in our own way. My mission is to support people to reconnect with their bodies, remembering and reclaiming their erotic energy as their creative life force and rightful inheritance.

I’ve been fascinated by the erotic since childhood – as many kids are – and my curiosity led to early experimentation, mostly influenced and (mis)informed by 80’s MTV rock culture and Cosmopolitan. My lack of real education about sex and the value of my pleasure left me with painful and confusing beliefs such as my body is for another’s pleasure, seduction equals power, and my worth comes from my desirability.

I regularly abandoned my pleasure for someone else’s and for decades, chased relationships with people who didn’t value me. I put myself in precarious situations and wound up with more than a few hard lessons learned. It was a difficult start, and unfortunately, versions of my story are common.

In college, I spent a lot of time talking with friends about relationships and sex, trying to figure out how to navigate everything from heartbreak to horniness. We’d fumble around together, sometimes all night, sharing our stories and learning from each other. I was no expert, my interest in vulnerable conversations combined with my listening skills translated to many conversations about sex and love. Some used to tease that I should leave art school for the psychology department, lol.

My deeper work began in 2000 when I discovered yoga. I was relieved to find a system that helped me come home to my body, take responsibility for the impact of my choices, and approach the world with loving kindness. I began working in nutrition and leadership at the same time and eventually started teaching yoga in 2004. I layered in authentic relating and human sexuality with an emphasis on somatics 15 years ago, and I tied it all together when got my Somatic Sex Educator certification in 2016.

Since then, I’ve trained in a variety of therapeutic modalities including somatic trauma healing, relational mindfulness, attachment, internal family systems, and nature-based programs. Teaching has become a passion along with life-long learning.

While I’ve spent a lifetime developing skills, I imagine my most important assets are my natural curiosity, grounded integrity, and a felt sense of connection to all beings. I bring heart-centered, body-based presence and attunement to each session, helping clients feel seen and safe enough to vulnerably share their deepest longings. I work with each client to co-create personalized strategies for maintaining vitality and wellness in their daily lives.

I have seen entire lives transformed as people get to know their true erotic shape, shedding the shame, anxiety, trauma, and harmful patterns that compromise loving relationships and the capacity to contribute to the World. My wish for everyone is that we reclaim our wholeness by learning to trust ourselves, cultivating an embodied connection with self, others, and the natural world.
